SAC celebrated the Freshers’ Day on 17th
July, 2014. On this day all the newcomers were welcomed. This year SAC has 17
Theologians and 36 Philosophers as resident newcomers. The day began with a
Solemn Eucharist in the morning. In the evening colourful cultural programme
added flavor to it. On this occasion, Rev. Fr. J.P. Pinto OFM Cap, the Rector
of the house encouraged all the newcomers with his inspiring message. At the end
in his usual gusto said, “All you look so fresh and so keep up this freshness
all through your life.” The second year theology students welcomed the
gathering with a meaningful welcome song, while the third year philosophy
students enacted a skit, “No Turning Back”. Electrifying filmy dance by the
second year philosophers was the center of attraction on the occasion. At the
end, the newcomers introduced themselves in their own way.
